New Semi-automatic Cap Bonding System for Clip Tube Packaging
Poly-Clip has launched a new semi-automatic cap bonding system, CBS 15, for production of clip-tube® packaging. The company reports that the new packaging bonding system is a reliable, cost-effective solution for viscous adhesives and sealants. The clip-tube is a tubular packaging with two clip closures and a threaded end piece with a ring-pull. It can be equipped with various extrusion nozzles and closures and thus offers a flexible alternative to the classic tube.
Poly-Clip reports the following advantages of the new system:
- Semi-automatic cap bonding system for efficient processing
- Secure and precise fastening of the threaded end pieces using hot-melt adhesive and pressure
- Three workstations with manually operated turntables for easy handling User-friendly and low-maintenance for smooth production
- Can be combined with various end pieces such as sealing caps or extrusion nozzles
- Air-free packaging for longer shelf life and complete emptying
- High packing density compared to conventional tubes for optimized storage
- Reduced packaging waste and cost-effective alternative to the classic tube
Poly-Clip reports that the air-free packaging is ideal for viscous products and offers a high packing density compared to conventional conical tubes. Manufacturers benefit from reduced packaging waste, optimized storage, and a cost-effective alternative to the traditional tube.
