New Aerospace Manufacturing Center Expected to Expand Adhesives Capacity and Testing Support
H.B. Fuller has announced plans to open a new Aerospace Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Charlotte, North Carolina, with operations expected to begin in early 2027.
According to the company, the facility is being developed to support aviation, space, and defense customers by bringing together manufacturing, packaging, testing, and quality operations in a single site designed for aerospace requirements. H.B. Fuller stated that the center is intended to expand production capacity and support long-term demand from customers operating under strict qualification and traceability requirements.
The company said the site will include specialized manufacturing systems, mixing and packaging equipment, and laboratories for product development, validation, and release conformance testing. For aerospace manufacturers, these capabilities may support qualification programs, long production cycles, and continuity of supply for highly specified adhesive and sealant materials.
João Magalhães, Senior Vice President, Engineering Adhesives at H.B. Fuller, said the new center is intended to support customers requiring long-term manufacturing consistency and technical reliability.
H.B. Fuller also reported that the facility is expected to achieve AS9100 certification and that the company plans to pursue Nadcap accreditation, both of which are widely recognized within aerospace manufacturing and quality systems.
