Multi-Surface Sealant and Adhesive Enters U.S. Market Following UK Adoption
Bostik has launched OB1® Multi-Surface Construction Sealant and Adhesive in the United States, expanding availability of a product that the company reports has been widely adopted in the UK and European markets.
According to Bostik, OB1 is designed to support bonding, sealing, and fixing tasks across a broad range of materials, including metal, wood, glass, plastic, and ceramic substrates. The company stated that the product can be applied in wet or dry conditions, making it suitable for both construction sites and home improvement environments.
Andrew Bondarev, Market Manager – Sealants for Bostik, said the product is intended to help installers reduce complexity by relying on a single adhesive for multiple applications. He noted that contractors and homeowners in other regions have adopted OB1 as a way to streamline toolkits while maintaining consistent application results.
Bostik reports that OB1’s formulation is intended to provide durability and flexibility across a variety of use cases, supporting clean finishes and long-term adhesion. The company also stated that the product’s versatility has contributed to its uptake in international markets.
OB1 Multi-Surface Construction Sealant and Adhesive is currently available in white and can be purchased online via Amazon. Additional U.S.-specific product resources are expected to be released as Bostik continues its rollout of the OB1 brand in North America.
