Graco Agreement to Acquire Valco Melton May Expand Resources for Dispensing and Inspection Customers
Valco Melton has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Graco Inc. in an all-cash transaction. According to the announcement, Valco Melton is expected to join Graco’s Industrial division after the transaction closes, which is anticipated in the third quarter of 2026.
For customers in industrial and packaging markets, the acquisition may bring together complementary capabilities in adhesive dispensing, inspection, and material handling technologies. Valco Melton stated that it expects to continue serving these markets with solutions aimed at product quality and manufacturing performance.
The company has a 74-year history and operates in 87 countries, with more than 650 employees, according to the announcement. Valco Melton indicated that the partnership with Graco reflects a shared focus on global customers and industrial processing applications.
