Expanded Univar Solutions-SI Group Agreement Broadens Access to Additives in EMEA
Univar Solutions and SI Group have expanded their distribution partnership across select EMEA markets, increasing access to performance additives used in plastics, rubber, and adhesive-related applications.
According to the companies, the agreement includes SI Group’s additives portfolio for plastics and adhesives, along with antioxidants, stabilizers, UV light stabilizers, and impact modifiers. The expansion is intended to support manufacturers facing growing demand for materials that contribute to processing efficiency, durability, and product performance.
The companies stated that the updated agreement covers Türkiye for rubber and plastic performance additives and the Iberia region for plastic performance additives and related additive technologies.
For manufacturers and formulators, the expanded arrangement may provide broader regional access to specialty additives along with technical and formulation support through Univar Solutions’ distribution and application resources. Univar Solutions noted that its support infrastructure includes Solution Centers that work on technical solutions aligned with evolving performance and regulatory requirements.
Matthew Oliver of Univar Solutions said the agreement is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to support customers with performance materials in EMEA. Paul Tilley of SI Group said the collaboration is intended to support commercialization of specialty rubber and plastics solutions in key regional markets.
