APPLIED Adhesives Acquisition Expands Silicone and Adhesive Support on the East Coast
APPLIED Adhesives, a North American provider of industrial adhesives, dispensing equipment, parts, and technical services, has acquired Industrial Sales and Distribution, Inc., a distributor of adhesives and silicones serving manufacturing customers for more than 35 years.
According to APPLIED Adhesives, the acquisition expands its East Coast presence and is intended to provide customers with broader access to adhesive, silicone, and dispensing technologies. ISD serves markets including aerospace, product assembly, pad printing, and other industrial manufacturing applications.
For manufacturers, the combination may provide access to a larger product portfolio along with additional application expertise, equipment support, and supply chain resources. APPLIED Adhesives stated that ISD’s local technical knowledge will be supported by APPLIED’s national sales and service infrastructure.
John Feriancek, President and CEO of APPLIED Adhesives, said the company plans to provide ISD customers with expanded product and technical capabilities while maintaining the service and supplier relationships they currently rely on.
Kathryn Brennan, President of ISD, said the acquisition is expected to create new opportunities for growth while preserving the responsiveness and long-term customer relationships associated with the company.
