Isocyanate-Free Adhesives and Sealants Target HVAC Assembly Efficiency and Performance

Forza Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of industrial adhesives, sealants, and specialty tapes, has expanded its HyPer Polymer® product line with bonding and sealing solutions developed specifically for HVAC and air handling equipment manufacturers.

The modified silane formulations are designed for applications including cabinet assembly, panel seam sealing, insulation mounting, gasketing, and vibration isolation. According to Forza, the products are solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and low VOC.

For HVAC manufacturers, the portfolio is intended to address conditions including continuous vibration, humidity, temperature cycling, and production environments where flammable adhesive systems can create additional handling and inventory requirements.

ForzaSEAL® OS2 is designed for cabinet and panel seam sealing and air-leak prevention, while ForzaBOND® OA4 provides flexible structural bonding for cabinet assembly and component attachment. ForzaBOND® OA13 is formulated for faster initial grab in applications such as insulation panel mounting and interior component fixturing.

Forza stated that its hybrid polymer systems are intended to reduce reliance on flammable adhesive chemistries while supporting faster application and cure, potentially helping manufacturers improve throughput without increasing labor.

The company also offers complementary spray adhesives, epoxy systems, and foam tapes, allowing manufacturers to address multiple bonding, sealing, and gasketing requirements within HVAC assembly.

Forza manufactures the products in the United States and said its in-house laboratory can tailor properties such as cure speed, viscosity, and adhesion characteristics for specific OEM production needs.
