Kraton Sustainability Rating Provides Additional Supply Chain Transparency for Materials Customers
Kraton Corporation, a global producer of specialty polymers and pine-based chemicals used in adhesives, coatings, sealants, packaging, automotive, and other industrial applications, has received an EcoVadis Platinum rating for the sixth consecutive year.
The company earned a score of 90 out of 100, its highest EcoVadis rating to date. The assessment evaluates sustainability management across areas including environmental practices, social responsibility, ethics, and supply chain performance.
For adhesive, sealant, coating, and other materials manufacturers, third-party sustainability ratings such as EcoVadis can provide additional visibility into supplier practices and support internal procurement, reporting, and responsible sourcing programs.
Kraton said the 2026 rating improved on its 2025 score of 86 and exceeded its previous company record of 88. The company noted that EcoVadis evaluates performance relative to industry peers, making year-over-year improvement more difficult as sustainability expectations continue to rise.
Sangwoo Ryu, Chief Executive Officer of Kraton, said the EcoVadis benchmark helps the company keep its sustainability management practices current and aligned with changing stakeholder expectations.
Kraton supplies materials to customers in more than 70 countries and serves markets including adhesives, sealants, coatings, packaging, automotive, construction, and roofing.
