APPLIED Adhesives Acquisition of LJD Packaging Expands Access to Adhesives and Equipment Support
APPLIED Adhesives has completed its acquisition of LJD Packaging, a distributor of adhesives and equipment focused on packaging, printing, labeling, and product assembly applications.
According to the company, the acquisition is intended to expand customer access to adhesive products, equipment offerings, and support resources, particularly along the East Coast. APPLIED Adhesives stated that the transaction will strengthen its ability to serve customers requiring application support and supply continuity across packaging-related operations.
John Feriancek, President and CEO of APPLIED Adhesives, said the company expects to continue providing the service and support valued by LJD Packaging customers. Joe Fischer, President of LJD Packaging, said the acquisition is expected to give customers access to expanded resources and solutions.
For end users in packaging, labeling, printing, and assembly markets, the acquisition may result in broader access to product lines, technical support, and distribution capabilities under a larger national platform.
