Henkel-U.S. Soccer Partnership Brings Youth Soccer Programs and Community Initiatives

Henkel North America has extended its partnership with the U.S. Soccer Federation to support expanded youth soccer programming and related community efforts across the United States.

According to the company, the efforts include free youth clinics delivered with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), drives to collect and redistribute soccer equipment, and the Dial® Clean Sheet program, which ties classroom-focused donations to national team match results.

Three clinics hosted in fall 2025 — in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida — featured coach-led activities and volunteer support, with Henkel reporting that hundreds of young players participated.

Jennifer Schiavone, vice president of Corporate Communications, Americas for Henkel, said the partnership aims to support young athletes through both sport and community engagement, including access to equipment and mentorship.

The American Youth Soccer Organization’s senior director, Dan Howald, noted that the events are part of an effort to make soccer “more accessible, more connected, and more fun for everyone, everywhere,” according to the company.

In addition to clinics, equipment drives in Pennsylvania and Florida worked with local organizations to collect balls, cleats, and other gear for children who may otherwise lack access to organized play.

Henkel reports that its Dial® Clean Sheet program has donated to DonorsChoose, supporting classroom resources in connection with U.S. Soccer match outcomes.

For manufacturers, community organizations, and others engaged in youth sport or workforce development initiatives, the expanded activities highlight one corporate approach to addressing barriers to participation and community engagement in youth athletics.
